The AT&T WorldNet Service Setup for Windows CE download file is approximately 1.6 MB. You will temporarily need 4.0 MB of hard disk space to download and install the software. You will need approximately 190KB of free space on your Handheld PC to run the application. Click "here" for detailed System Requirements.

NOTE: You must install and register for AT&T WorldNet Service using AT&T WorldNet® Setup software on your Microsoft Windows 95/98/Me/2000/NT4 based computer before running this software designed for the Windows CE operating system. This software will not configure your system if you registered for AT&T WorldNet Service using the Microsoft Internet Connection Wizard or the Netscape Account Setup procedure for Netscape 1.21 and 2.02. Please upgrade to a current version of AT&T WorldNet Setup before proceeding.

Before downloading this software, please read the Setup Procedures.

Please perform the following steps after the download is complete:

Close all Windows Applications and Dial-Up Networking connections before installing the AT&T WorldNet Service software.
On your Winodws 95/98/Me/2000/NT4 based computer, use the Windows Explorer to locate the file "wnetce3.exe" you downloaded and double-click on it to start the installation.
Connect your HandHeld PC to the serial port of your PC. Refer to the HandHeld PC manual for how to connect your Handheld PC to the Windows 95/98/NT4 computer.
Follow the on-line installation instructions.
It is strongly recommended that you read and print the release notes when prompted in the setup process. This file is stored as "wnceread.txt" inside your "AT&T WorldNet User" folder on your Windows 95/98/Me/2000/NT4 Desktop. To find this file, click the "Start" Button on the Windows 95/98/Me/2000/NT4 Task Bar and select "Find", then "Files or Folders..." to search for it on your desktop PC's hard drive.
When you see "AT&T WorldNet Service Setup for Windows CE" running on your Handheld PC, click "OK" to set up your Handheld PC to connect to the AT&T WorldNet Service.
